Working with B.E.A.R.S. was life-changing for our family as Divine pursued educational and athletic opportunities in the United States from Lagos, Nigeria. As an international family, the process felt overwhelming at first.

The experience behind every engagement.

Families choosing a U.S. independent school are usually working with partial information: a shortlist from someone who has never visited the campus, a school's own marketing, a rumor about what admissions is really looking for. Our advisors were the people on the other end of those conversations.

The practice brings more than fifteen years across admissions, enrollment, student development, and higher education. One advisor served as Director of Admissions at a NESCAC institution, among the most academically selective conferences in the country. That is the deciding side of the desk, where applications are read, weighed, and answered.

Another served as a class dean in the same conference, advising more than a thousand students on academic planning, accountability, graduation requirements, and the personal demands of a rigorous education. That is where you learn what actually happens to a student after the acceptance arrives, and which ones were genuinely prepared for it.

Our senior advisor co-led a 27-member advisor team at IMG Academy, the largest student-athlete development environment in the country, coordinating daily across coaches, admissions, financial aid, academic services, and student support.
